Product Overview

The H8c PoE rotates to check several directions from one mounting point, useful at an entrance, parking area or shop. Pan and tilt change its view; the whole area is not visible in one frame. Set its home position and alert zone carefully.

It needs an Ethernet run and compatible PoE switch or injector. EZVIZ also specifies 12V/1A DC power. Plan cable routing and connection protection within your CCTV surveillance system.

Key Features and Benefits

Move Around a Wider Outdoor Area

The motorized head pans 350° and tilts 80°. Save up to 12 viewing locations in the EZVIZ app. The 4mm F1.6 and 6mm F1.6 lens options provide 89° and 52° horizontal views respectively. Confirm the supplied lens.

2K Detail for Everyday Checks

At 2304 × 1296 pixels, the camera offers more detail than ordinary 1080p video, with up to 30fps under supported conditions. Digital WDR and 3D noise reduction help when an entrance has bright daylight and shadow together. Picture clarity still depends on distance, aiming and available light.

Track Human Motion

AI human-shape detection can trigger an alert and track a person. Set a detection area around the gate rather than the street. Tracking depends on distance, light and movement speed. EZVIZ lists human detection for this model, without specifying vehicle-shape detection.

See and Respond After Dark

Infrared gives black-and-white viewing up to a stated 30m; spotlight-assisted color viewing reaches up to 20m. A siren and flashing lights can warn visitors, while two-way talk works through the app. Configure alerts for the location. Spotlights do not flash in color night-vision mode.

Store Video and Handle Outdoor Conditions

H.265 or H.264 compression helps manage recording on a separate microSD card up to 512GB. CloudPlay is optional, subject to subscription and availability. The weatherproof camera operates from -30°C to 50°C; use the included waterproof kit at the connection. EZVIZ does not specify a numeric IP grade.

Recommended Applications

• Checking a gate, garage and courtyard from one outdoor position
• Following human movement near a shop entrance or parking bay
• Watching the approach to a small office or apartment building
