Product Overview

The H4 PoE is a fixed-view outdoor IP security camera for locations with an Ethernet run. Its 2K image, phone alerts and audio help you check a gate or review activity outside a business. Aim it carefully during installation; it does not pan or tilt remotely.

PoE simplifies a CCTV surveillance installation by combining power and network traffic in one cable. You need a suitable PoE switch or injector. Alternatively, it supports 12V/1A DC power. Check outdoor cable routing with your installer.

Key Features and Benefits

Clear 2K Video for Everyday Monitoring

At 2304 × 1296 pixels, the H4 PoE captures more detail than 1080p. WDR, backlight compensation and 3D noise reduction help with difficult entrance lighting. EZVIZ lists 2.8mm and 4mm F1.6 lenses, with 106° and 86° horizontal views respectively. Confirm which Touch IT supplies.

Alerts Focused on People and Vehicles

The camera distinguishes human and vehicle shapes from general motion and supports customized alert areas. Watch a driveway or shop entrance without alerts from every movement elsewhere. Detection accuracy still depends on placement, lighting and settings.

Flexible Night Vision and Active Defense

Choose infrared for black-and-white monitoring, spotlights for color video, or smart mode to illuminate human activity. Infrared reaches up to 30m under EZVIZ's specification. A siren and flashing lights provide a warning; two-way talk lets you speak through the EZVIZ app.

Local Recording in Outdoor Conditions

The microSD slot accepts separately purchased cards up to 512GB. H.265 or H.264 compression helps manage space; CloudPlay is an optional subscription where available. The IP67 enclosure suits outdoor installation when the cable connection is protected. Operating range is -30°C to 50°C.

Recommended Applications

• Watching a home gate, driveway or courtyard from a fixed position
• Checking deliveries and talking to visitors at a shop entrance
• Monitoring a warehouse door, garage approach or office exterior

If Ethernet is impractical, browse Wi-Fi cameras or EZVIZ Wi-Fi cameras for wireless-network alternatives. They still require power; the H4 PoE connects by cable.
